BIO

As someone who is deeply passionate about connecting with people, I found that communications was the perfect medium for me to express my skills and strengths. As a senior public relations major and art history minor at Appalachian State University, I am seeking an opportunity for me to exhibit my professional skills and expand my personal interests while fulfilling the needs of the job.

During my time at Appalachian, I have received the honor of being on the Dean's List every semester. Another honor I received was being selected to attend the 2014 session of Governor's School West, a five and a half week residential program for intellectually gifted high school students that integrates academic courses, the arts, and unique courses.

I have had professional experience as an intern at the Weatherspoon Art Museum in Greensboro, NC during the summer of 2017 where I helped promote events and exhibitions and where I managed archival data for a new marketing and PR campaign. Most recently, I worked with a client called High Country Calligraphy to create a social media marketing campaign during a three-week period in June 2018. I am comfortable working in a fast paced environment and have well-developed communication skills, both written and verbal.
